Reading Tablature

Reading Tablature is basically an easier version of reading music. Although they look similar on paper they are totally different. In tablature the lines represent the strings and the numbers represent the number of the fret. The bottom line represents the low E string and the top line repsents the high E string. If the tablature looks like Figure A,

it would mean play the E string holding down the 3rd fret and play the A string holding down the 5th fret which is the G power chord.
